What does "Evidenced Based" mean???

According to the American Psychological Association, "Evidence-based practice is the integration of the best available research with clinical expertise in the context of patient characteristics, culture and preferences."

Rather than relying on personal opinion, evidence based therapy gives mental health providers a framework for care based on research. This reduces the chances that bias or subjective experience will over-influence treatment.

Each modality listed is evidenced based interventions to treat OCD.
